Finally a GREAT shaver
Posted by: | CommentsAndis 17010 Professional Profoil Rechargable Shaver Review
I’ve finally found a shaver that does what it says it does. My first time using this shaver I experienced no irritation which has always been a problem for me with other shavers. Andis by far is the best choice for men with razor bumps or stubble. It gives a clean close shave everytime. I also like the push up trimmer. An extra added touch. I HIGHLY recommend this shaver.

Outstanding! Takes a Licking and Still Works!

I was so tired of replacing razor/blade heads on the Schick and Gillette non-electric models that are sold in the grocery/big box stores. The blades alone were close to $5 for replacements, so I thought why not try an electric. So far, I’m delighted. This razor shaves smoothly in the shower and I experienced no razor burn on either my legs or underarms.
I asked my husband about this complaint and he said the user was pushing too hard instead of letting the shaver glide over the skin’s surface. Maybe that will help someone else. Anyway, the first time I used this, I dropped it – my hands are a bit klutzy. I was really upset because I thought I’d ruined my new shaver. Fortunately, it was simple to put it back together and it ran just fine after my accident. My only criticism is that replacement blades and a replacement head are more expensive than just buying a new razor. Guess when the head and blades need replacing, I’ll just junk the old razor and get a new one.
Six weeks of using this razor have only confirmed my initial opinion. It shaves smoothly, without irritation, and does an outstanding job. I use it in the shower, soaping my legs before I shave, and I’ve had no issue with stubble or razor burns. In fact, you’ll find yourself shaving more since it’s so easy. I’m definitely a happy camper!

Great Razor
Posted by: | Comments Sanyo SV M730 Electric Battery Operated Pocket Shaver with Hard Case and Built-in Mirror Review
My son has owned a Sanyo razor for 15-20 years. He uses it when he travels. It is the only “electric razor” he will use. He has just ordered another (for a lot less money than Amazon wants) and hopes it will be as good as the Sanyo battery razor he has been using.

Why did I wait so long??!?

30 seconds into my first shave, I knew I had made a great choice for my new razor. Now, three weeks later, I’m even more elated than I was during that first shave. After using Braun shavers for my last two, this Panasonic is a revalation. I researched new shavers for a couple hours, and narrowed it down to this Panasonic and the comparable (and comparably expensive) Braun system. Perhaps the latest Braun would have made me happy, too, but I won’t be switching back.
What do I like about the ES8162? For starters, the blades move at a consistent speed, which is higher than my old Braun. The blades maintain speed, even when the shaver’s battery is low, something that plagued my old Braun, which in the end I had to keep plugged in 100% of the time. The consistently high speed of the Panasonic means less razor burn, at least on my face.
The other thing I love is being able to shave wet or dry. I thought this was a “nice to have” but I have quickly become addicted to shaving wet, with my Geo F. Trumper shaving soap and a real badger brush. Talk about a crazy combination of retro and modern! But the glycerin-based shaving soap feels so much better on my face, leaves it smooth and clean, and is the perfect lubricant for shaving with the Panasonic. The shaving brush is pure indulgence.
I used to hate shaving. I wouldn’t say I look forward to it now, but it’s certainly become an experience with its own modest pleasure.

I have used a few electric shavers over the years with pretty good results but this one is more than pretty good, it not only gives a very close shave but it is very easy on my skin, it is easy to hold and the built in trimmer works well, the charger is nice with no cords that often get lost, the shaver just mounts on the charger and is fully charged in 8 hrs, if you are looking for a new electric shaver this is a good choice at a good price!
